Artist Statement
My artwork is a reflection of confusion seen in the world. The figures in my work either don't understand themselves or each other.
My visual influences include John Carter, Luc Tuymans, Peter Doig, Giorgio De Chirico, Francis Alys, and Juan Munoz. My literary influences includes Foucault, Camus, Umberto Eco, and Baudelaire.

Born in Hackettstown, NJ, 1983.
Steven Ketchum currently lives in Brooklyn where he works as a graphic designer and illustrator.
